The cost of the Lodi Pathfinder Yosemite Rock Climb is $60.00 non-refundable.  It covers the cost of the event reservation, the campsite for three nights, and the national park entrance fee.  At least $25.00 must be paid by Tuesday, November 14, 2017.  The balance ($35.00) must be paid by March 14, 2018.

The objective is to provide the Teen Pathfinders with an experience that is challenging, fun, socially valuable, spiritually stimulating, and safe.  The event takes place in Yosemite National Park.  Reservation is open to any Teen Pathfinder and sponsor.  (Minimum of one sponsor for every five pathfinders.)  Reservations are required and limited in number.

All the climbing equipment is provided, however, if the pathfinders have their own personal climbing equipment they are encouraged to bring and use it.

In 1989 Roberto Henriquez, Assoc. Youth Director of Northern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, wanted to inspire Junior Pathfinders to continue on as Teen Pathfinders.  He developed the Teen Pathfinder Adventure Program, which included Caving, Winter Camping, and Rock Climbing.  Winter Camping never was a success due to the cost of equipment, but Caving and Rock Climbing were an incredible success and have continued for the past 20 plus years.  Since the beginning subtle changes have occurred to improve the experience.  Such as: equipment, location of the climbing, and a choice of weekends.  Of course, Yosemite is an incentive to come if no other reason exists.
